Instructions for Fixing the Fusion Barcode Scanners

List of steps:

  1. Click the X in the top right corner of Fusion and choose Exit
  2. Fusion will restart and bring you back to the main screen
  3. If scanner is still not working the power off the machine using CTRL + ALT + Delete and then Shutdown or hold down the power button on the computer until it turns off fully (If you need to open the doors of the kiosk to get to the computer ask a TL to retrieve the key from Member Services for you (IT has a backup in their office at the SRSC in case you cannot find it))
  4. Push the power button again to turn the machine to turn back on
  5. Wait until Fusion is back up and then test the scanner
  6. If the scanner still doesn't work submit an IT (Device) Support ticket
